Master Recipe for Making Medicinal Herbal Oils and Herbal Salves Using Any Herb
Master Salve Recipe
1 cup infused oil
¼ cup beeswax
Ways to Infuse Oil with Herbs
- Sun Method - Soak herb in Extra Virgin Olive Oil(EVOO) for 2-4 weeks in a sunny location, for example, a windowsill.
- Double Boiler - Put herb in oil and place in a double boiler for 60 minutes. Keep the temperature between 95 to 110 degrees.
- Oven Method - Lay dried herb on a baking sheet and saturate with oil. Place in oven on the lowest setting for 30-60 minutes. When you smell the fragrance of the herb it’s ready.
